What is a Life Chain?
We gather to pray for repentance of the sin of abortion in our country. Thousands of Christians will line the sidewalks on both sides of ? St. downtown, for 1 hour. Each participant silently holds a sign conveying the truth of abortion. No graphic sign will be used.

Because this is a national event hundreds of cities will be in prayer with us.

You are invited! Come, be a part of this inter-denominational move of God. You will leave refreshed and strengthened to see thousands united with one heart turned toward our Lord.

As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leapt for joy.
- Luke 1:44 NIV

The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body...
- 1 Corr. 12: 12-13 NIV

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- 2 Chron. 7:14 NIV

"The Life Chain is a Church event, not a rally or political extravaganza..."

A pastor's thoughts about central Indiana's Life Chain...

"Our church has participated in Life Chain for several years in Indianapolis. We believe that this peaceful demonstration truly affects the hearts of those who pass by. We stand faithfully before God and those witnesses without shame and with great reverence for God's creation; those made in His image.

If the church of Jesus Christ does not stand up for the lives of unborn children, who will? Oh, if only every Christian church would join those crowds lining the streets, what a powerful witness of our faith and our unity that would be."

- Robert A. Amon, Assoc. Pastor
Southport Presbyterian

The Mission:
Our mission is to participate in a nationwide prayer gathering to defend the unborn.

We provide an avenue for churches of every denomination to come together and silently, yet publicly proclaim that abortion is the killing of a baby and the exploitation of a woman.

We believe in the sanctity of all human life and the need for a peaceful and prayerful stand against the violence that is abortion.
