Life Chain:
A "Pastor Friendly" Event

We understand that a pastor deals with much pressure in meeting the needs of his congregation. Pastors often face criticism from their church members for not being radically committed to everything presented to them. We, the Life Chain Staff, are thankful for the leadership in our churches. We have worked to make this prayer gathering an event that will not be an added burden to our pastors, but rather a blessing. The role of our pastors in the Life Chain is:

1. To assign, or have someone assign a person to be his church's contact person. The contact person will be the one to work directly with Life Chain.

2. To point the way to the prayer gathering from the pulpit. Even if just to say, "People, I want you to listen to this..." as the contact person makes the announcement.

3. To consider granting us the blessing of your presence at the Life Chain.

Your encouragement will motivate church members to publicly stand for the cause of Christ. That enthusiasm will cause some to become more active in their service to Christ and the Church. What pastor doesn't need a greater number of "workers" within his church?

Signs will be provided
Each participant will hold one of the following messages:

Abortion Kills Children
Jesus Forgives & Heals
Lord, Forgive Us and Our Nation
Adoption: the Loving Option
